Midland- The Petroleum Museum is one step closer to being able to open it's doors after a major power outage.
On Wednesday the museum remains closed while electricians work to determine the cause and make any needed repairs.
Air conditioning to the building has been knocked and operators at the museum say that needs to resolve that as well before they can re-open for business.
A family night expected to bring about 1.000 visitors Thursday July 29, 2010 has been rescheduled for august 12th.
The museum hopes to open to the public by the weekend.
